
The 2007 Golden H.E.R.O. Awards Gala will welcome invited guests on the red carpet. Hosted by 2002 and 2005 SEC Championship Football Coach Mark Richt of UGA and 2004 NCAA Final Four Coach Paul Hewitt of Georgia Tech, the Golden H.E.R.O. Awards Gala combines a Hollywood style awards ceremony with gourmet cuisine, open bar, VIP Celebrity reception, live band, dancing, exclusive Live and Silent auctions and an intimate evening with national celebrities and local heroes. College Football Legend Vince Dooley and his wife, Barbara are Honorary Chairs. Food Network stars Paula Deen, Jamie and Bobby Deen are Special Guests. H.E.R.O. for Children will honor Dr. Helene Gayle, Chief Executive Officer of CARE USA, with the prestigious Golden H.E.R.O. Award for her tremendous achievements in the fight against HIV/AIDS. All proceeds support H.E.R.O. for Children and its groundbreaking programs and unforgettable experiences for children infected with and affected by HIV/AIDS in the state of Georgia.

The Golden H.E.R.O. Awards Gala is the largest annual fundraiser for pediatric AIDS in the Southeast that recognizes pioneers who have brought significant attention to the needs of children affected by HIVAIDS.
